When your computer or device needs more attention than an in-home visit allows, LoTyde Tech Assistance can arrange off-site service. We inspect the problem, explain the recommended work, get your approval, then service and test your device before returning it.

Deep Device Cleaning

A more thorough cleaning service for devices that need extra attention.
Computer Tune-Up

Routine maintenance and performance checks to help address common slowdowns.
Performance Tune-Up

A more comprehensive tune-up for devices that need additional performance attention.
Virus & Malware Cleanup

Help identifying and removing malware and addressing common security issues. Final cost depends on the work required.
Security Checkup

A review of basic device security settings and common safety concerns.
Windows Reset / Reinstall

Reset or reinstall Windows when appropriate. Data backup or transfer, software, and parts may be additional.
New Computer Setup

Initial setup and configuration of a new computer. Additional migration or special setup work may be billed separately.
SSD Upgrade

SSD upgrade labor starting price. The SSD and any other required parts are billed separately.
HOURLY SERVICE
Additional repair and support work
Some jobs vary too much in scope to have one flat price. These services are billed by labor time, with parts and materials listed separately.
Windows Repair
$35/hour
Windows troubleshooting and repair billed in 30-minute increments.
Data Transfer
$35/hour
Transfer files between devices or to a replacement computer. Storage media, if needed, is additional.
Data Backup
$35/hour
Help backing up important files. External drives, cloud subscriptions, and other materials are additional.
Hardware Installation
$35/hour
Installation labor for compatible hardware. Hardware and other parts are billed separately.
Hourly labor policy: $35 per hour, billed in 30-minute increments ($17.50 per half-hour). Parts and materials are separate invoice line items.
BUNDLED OPTIONS
Device service packages
Packages combine common maintenance and transition tasks at a set price. The exact work included should be confirmed when booking based on the device and its condition.
Basic Device Refresh

A basic refresh for a device that needs routine cleanup and attention.
Complete Computer Refresh

A more comprehensive refresh for a computer that needs several maintenance tasks.
New Computer Transition

Help transitioning to a new computer, including agreed-upon transfer and setup tasks.
If a package requires additional labor, parts, materials, software, or services outside its included scope, those costs will be explained and approved separately before work begins.
DIAGNOSTICS & PICKUP

Diagnostic

Standard diagnostic fee to inspect the device and identify the likely cause or next steps.
Pickup & Return

Flat rate for pickup and return within the service area.
Care Plan Members
$0
Diagnostic and pickup/return fees are waived for Care Plan members.
After diagnosis, you receive the recommended work and applicable costs. No repair work begins until you approve the quote.

Contact LoTyde to discuss the device and arrange drop-off or pickup.
2. Diagnose
We inspect the device and determine the recommended next steps.
3. Approve
You receive the quote and decide whether to proceed.
4. Service & test
We complete approved work, test the device, and arrange return.
CARE PLAN
Some service benefits are included.
The LoTyde Care Plan is $99 per month and includes 3 hours of eligible service each billing month. Those hours apply to eligible in-home help, out-of-home device work, and fixed packages (for example Basic Device Refresh = 2 hours, Complete Computer Refresh = 3 hours). Parts and materials are billed separately. Care Plan members also receive free diagnostics and free pickup/return. Unused hours do not roll over.

Before your service
- Back up important files before service when possible.
- Parts, materials, software, subscriptions, and third-party costs are separate unless explicitly included in an approved quote.
- Pricing marked with “+” is a starting price; the final quote depends on the device and required work.
- We explain recommended additional work and get your approval before proceeding.
Applicable taxes, payment processing fees, and eligible discounts are handled according to the current LoTyde pricing policies. Fixed-dollar discounts are applied before the veteran percentage discount.
